Voice
Classically trained baritone/tenor with a primary interest in modern work and musical theatre.
Music
Expert-level music reader, transposer, and technical practitioner.
Master-level aural skills, sight-reader, and ear training.
Modest forays into group choral/voice direction.

THEATER
Lighting Design: Lead Designer on 3-5 musicals or plays. Comfortable with advanced lighting design, lights installation/maintenance, hands-on experience with lighting instruments, running the board, etc.

Sound Design: Lead Designer on 5-10 musicals or plays. Comfortable with all aspects of sound design, from formal design to instrument installation/maintenance, reading and understanding sound design

Director: Directed 8-12 shows of varying scale and complexity, from full-scale musicals to small, intimate theatre pieces. Applied coursework and guidance in Direction from Goshen College.

Technical Direction: Acted as the technical director for 6-10 shows for the Belleayre Musical Festival up on the top of a mountain in the Catskills Mountains of New York State. Oversaw all backstage details for Dwight Yoakam, The Doobie Brothers, and Ben Vereen, among others.

Dramaturgy: Lead Dramaturg on one show.

Front of House: I have a multitude of Experience running Front-of-House for many organizations, including Mu Performing Arts, Guthrie Theatre, Goshen College Theatre and Performing Arts Center, and too many organizations for me to remember.

In general, I have a great passion for the stage, and especially smaller, intimate musical theatre pieces. I consider myself a trained critic and coach in all of these areas.
